You can include static links to the item details of items in your catalog. The link searches for the ISBN of an item, and because there is only one result for the search, it opens the items detail display. These types of links can be used in a variety of ways, such as for a custom list of items, and can be placed in any room page, including the Home page.
To create a static link
| ➢ | Enter the link on the page with the following format (wherelibrarysite is the URL for the library, profileis the profile name, andISBNis the ISBN code): |
http://librarysite/client/profile/search/results?te=ILS&qu=ISBN%3DISBN
Note: The "te=ILS" parameter in the URL denotes the search target entry code. In this example, the URL points to the "ILS" search target. You can substitute any search target entry code in your system to link to an item in that target.
